Yudhra Movie Review
Yudhra released on September 20, directed by Ravi Udyawar, has a strong plot in the first half. It’s about this young guy who is struggling with the loss of his parents and wants to unleash his anger that has been suppressed. With a strong directional debut like “Mom”, Ravi has failed to meet expectations with Yudhra. Although a thriller, Yudhra brings no thrill in its main climax scene. The plot becomes highly predictable to the viewer and in the second half you’re left wondering “Why did it all happen in the first place?”. This movie had a lot of potential but ended up becoming a predictable plot.

Yudhra Actor Performance Analysis
Of course, Siddhant Chaturvedi was a major part of carrying the film along. He shone through the action scenes. But his emotional scenes weren’t a match his action ones. Especially in the second half. But he gave his best to the role and you can see that if you watch the movie. Our love interest Malavika Mohanan isn’t just there for love, she has her own role and plays an important one at that. Plus Raghav Juyal impresses with his serious act but is poorly used in the second half. Other actors also played their parts well. However, Shilpa Shukla was seen a bit weak here. The kid who played young Rudra also nailed it!
Yudhra Direction Analysis
Ravi Udyavar has tried to give us the angriness from the 70s Bollywood of a vengeful lead who wants revenge but his enemies are much closer than he may think. This thrill goes stale in the second half of the movie. Jay Oza’s cinematography is excellent and he has played with the color red throughout the movie. The action sequences are the selling point of the movie. The songs are just so-so except for Saathiya.
All actors have put their best foot forward to make this project a good one. But the plot or script makes their efforts go to waste. It has failed to achieve the potential it had. This can be one-time entertainment. A one-time watch if you really want to see some action.
