The story begins with Masilamani (Chian Vikram) and his wife Parvati Thiruvothu (Selvi) who work day and night in Kolar Gold Fields under adverse conditions.
There is a clash between the workers and the British officers regarding the increase in salary. Masilamani becomes determined to raise the voice of the workers and starts opposing the British officers.
