Sector 36 Poster

Sector 36 has been released on Netflix and it’s been 5 days since it’s trending, this Hindi crime thriller is based on the 2006 Noida serial killing case, which is also known as the Nithari case. Vikrant Massey is in the lead role and has done a fabulous job as a psycho-killer according to the audience.

Watch the Netflix Trailer for Sector 36

Sector 36 is probably India’s first movie to portray a psycho killer in such detail. Although there are many movies in Hollywood with serial killing stories, the reason behind this is that there were many serial killings that happened in the West in the 90s.

There were many articles and reviews coming out related to Sector 36 that it is too disturbing and those with weak hearts should not watch this movie but there is nothing like that to be scared of this movie and anyone can watch this. There are just sounds in the background where you can see that a human body is getting chopped, but no scenes where you can see something like this in the movie.

Although I didn’t like Vikrant Massey’s performance in this movie as it looks like he’s just doing it for the sake of the movie. He’s not putting his efforts into doing something extra this can be seen in this movie. At the same time, Deepak Dobriyal has done a fabulous job. His eyes were speaking throughout the movie, and I really liked his performance. This crime thriller is directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and written by B. Roychaudhury.

According to me, this movie is not up to the mark. This can be made far better as it looks like this movie is done in a hurry, and there are many things missing. Although the movie had a good storyline.

Sector 36 is majorly, lacking emotions, character development and storytelling as there could be much more which could be done to make this film a masterpiece.
