National Institute Open Schooling admits lakhs of students every year. Taking classes in this institute is not compulsory. You can easily get a degree from this university at home, you just have to go to give the exam.
NIOS exam is held twice a year. Its certificate is also valid. You can fill up the form of IAS and IIT, CLAT and CUET using this certificate.
The full form of NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling. This open institute is recognised by the Government of India. It was established in 1989.
The purpose of opening this open institute is to provide opportunities for poor children who are unable to study due to work.
There are 15 boards of NIOS all over India. In this open school, you can complete 10th and 12th studies from any stream like Science, Commerce, Arts.
Talking about the exam’s board syllabus, it includes Math, English, Science and Social Science and Culture.
The syllabus of class 12 includes Math, English, Physics and Chemistry and two mandatory languages for the Science stream and Economics, History, Geography, Polity, Social Science, Urdu are included in the Art stream.
