The audience has been excited about the latest Punjabi Comedy movie. Wild Wild Punjab is now out in theatres and getting huge success. The movie is a must for anyone who wants some desi jokes and wonderful storytelling.

The Plot of Wild Wild Punjab

The plot of Wild Wild Punjab is quite simple. However, the way the storyline is twisted into different subplots and comedy scenes, makes the movie a blast of an entertainer.

The movie revolves around Khanna (Varun Sharma) who is heartbroken, thanks to his break-up. 3 of his friends try to help him out and in this effort they create numerous problems. One after another these problems give rise to some epic scenes.

At the beginning of the movie, Khanna is on the verge of attempting suicide. His friends  Arore (Sunny Singh), Jainu (Jassie Gill) and Honey Paaji (Manjot Singh) come to his rescue. They somehow manage to get him in one piece and finally decide to start on a journey to Pathankot. They wanted to show Khanna’s ex-girlfriend that he had moved from her when she was going to marry her boss. Pretty wild, isn’t it?

Wild Wild Punjab comes with many fiascoes where the characters show their full potential. The four friends meet Radha (Patralekha), Meera (Ishita Raj), a bullet-riding girl from Panjab University, a comic policeman Avtar Singh (Rajesh Sharma), and a pair of drug dealers. All of these characters interact to give a number of laughable incidents.

The movie has a few cuss words but only for fun. There is no disrespect intended. Apart from that, the movie has a drug angle too. How can you expect a Punjabi movie without a dhaba? After the dhaba scene you would get to see a hilarious jeep named ‘ Paro ‘, and then some action scenes with bullets in it. All of these take place in order to make Khanna say the 4 magical words ‘ I am over you ‘.

Cast of Wild Wild Punjab

Varun Sharma plays a depressed yet funny guy in this movie. His punchlines will definitely make you laugh. Sunny Singh plays the tough guy whereas Jaissie Gill is shown as underconfident. Sweety in this movie has really good scenes. As these characters create a mess, Manjot Singh takes on the duty to manage the chaos.

Patralekha and Ishita Raj have limited screen time, but their characters impact the storyline.

This Imtiaz Ali movie is a bit different from a typical Imtiaz Ali movie. Movie makers have made sure that they capture the essence of Punjabi comedy.

Overall the movie is pretty good. The storyline is never stagnant and the dynamic comedy scenes keep you guessing. Wild Wild Punjab has some epic punchlines. Makers have given their best to create something new and some typical comedy movies. Make sure you watch the movie to get numerous laughs.
