Kaos Trailer: Here is the Must-Read Review

Netflix has released the trailer of Kaos: A Dark-Comedy Retelling of Greek Mythology.

The full trailer has been launched by Netflix.  One of the most anticipated series, Kaos, is all set to release on 29th August.  The series is a dark comedy inspired by Greek mythology.  The show aims to present a mythological intrigue in the form of contemporary humour.

The series is produced by Charlie Covell. Kaos reimagines the Greek gods and goddesses placed in a modern setting. The show has 6 major characters featured on Earth and is related to ancient Greek prophecy. All of them are connected because of the prophecy and are contending with the corrupt and arrogant Greek gods.

Watch Kaos Trailer here:

The supremely talented cast of Kaos includes Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, who finds himself grappling with neurosis after discovering a wrinkle on his forehead, leading him to a paranoid frenzy. Janet McTeer stars as Hera, the Queen of the Gods, who must navigate her challenges as Zeus’s paranoia escalates. Cliff Curtis plays Poseidon, the God of the Sea, Storms, Earthquakes, and Horses, whose preoccupation with his super-yacht and parties contrasts sharply with the mortal realm’s struggles.

Other notable cast members include David Thewlis, Killian Scott, Nabhaan Rizwan, Billie Piper, Debi Mazar, Eddie Izzard, Aurora Perrineau, Misia Butler, and Leila Farzad. Each character brings their unique flair to the narrative, enhancing the series’ rich, comedic tapestry.

The story revolves around Zeus’s unravelling sanity.  All the chaos created by him and his final downfall has the major limelight. Brother of David Thewlis, Hades struggles while managing the backlogs of soul.  The son of Hades, Dionysus, played by Nabhaan Rizwan, is out of control and threatened by cosmic conflict. Poseidon remains in Bi’s mortal plight and indulges in hedonistic pursuits.

The series is the portrayal of classical myth using humorous and satirical representation.
