Joker 2 has been officially announced, but its name is quite strange: “Folie à Deux.” This is a French phrase that means two or more individuals affected by a similar or identical mental disorder, typically occurring within the same family or among close family members.
Given how dark the title is, you can imagine how the movie will be. Joaquin Phoenix, with his brilliant acting, and Director Todd Phillips, showcased the story of a person suffering from a mental disorder and his journey from a comedian to a criminal in a very dark manner.
Fans’ obsession with this movie is so intense that despite being an R-rated film, the first part made a worldwide collection of $1 billion, and Joker became a comic book character who won two Oscars. Lady Gaga has been cast as Harley Quinn, who is Joker’s sidekick and lover, and one of DC Comics’ biggest villains in Joker 2. The trailer shows how a psychiatrist falls in love with Joker and becomes Harley Quinn.
