4. Check the app before installing it
If you use any payment app, keep tracking the app payment from time to time, i.e. keep checking from time to time how many transactions have been done this month. Keep checking whether any fraud has happened with anyone on this app.
5. Do check the permission list
When you install any app from Google Play Store or iPhone Store, it asks for permission in the app. But from time to time you should check the permission list of that app. If it is accessing information for which you have not given permission, then uninstall this app immediately.

Employees of any bank, whether it is a government bank or a private bank, never call you to update your mobile number.
Bank officials never call you and get KYC done.
Bank officials never ask you for PAN card number, ATM card number, bank details and your date of birth.
