Bloody Ishq Movie review
As expected of a Vikram Bhatt movie, Bloody Ishq fails to deliver what the audience expects of him. The movie neither gives any chills nor any thrills. Although his desire to create a romantic horror film was already known, he had managed to give good scares in his previous movies. Bloody Ishq will highly disappoint you if you want it for those genres.

The Story is about a woman Neha who is trying to navigate through her life with her husband Romesh after an almost drowning circumstance which causes her to lose her memory. This leads the couple to move into a secluded mansion in Scotland. This is where they experience eerie things which leads Neha to investigate if there is a supernatural involvement or there’s more to it.
We do get twists related to Neha’s friend helping her find her memories back from the past but we can tell the ambiguity behind her intentions. The answer is what everyone thinks, nothing surprising to it. But you still need to watch the whole thing only to find that you knew it all along.
Whatever scary stuff is supposed to be there, doesn’t really scare much. The love story of the main couple is stretched quite a bit and emphasised a lot, leading to deviating from the horror aspect. The very few scary scenes of the mansion do not impress a lot.
Despite the lacklustre in the script, the only performance we find the best is of Avika Gor as Neha. The writing somewhat limits the potential of the actress. Other actors have done their parts decently as well.
Something people look up to for Vikram Bhatt’s films is the music. However, this movie is going to disappoint in this as well. In a nutshell, Bloody Ishq is more of a Romance Thriller with elements of horror here and there. It could be a good watch if you remove the horror aspect from your mind and then watch it. Unfortunately, for horror fans, this is going to be a disappointing movie.
